Our story

Pivot Bureau started from a frustration with how "AI for small business" was being sold: expensive tools that a busy owner still has to configure, or scripted chatbots that answer three FAQs and hand everything else back to a voicemail. Meanwhile the genuinely useful part — an assistant that can actually take an action, like booking a job into your calendar or sending a quote — was locked behind enterprise pricing and long projects.

So we built the other version: done-for-you agentic AI, delivered as a working system rather than a subscription you have to operate. We started by building real, runnable examples — a receptionist that answers and books, a document assistant that only answers from your own content, a WhatsApp quoter for trades — and putting them online so anyone could try them before spending a penny. Those live demos are still the front door to the business.

Our mission

To give small businesses the same "it just handles it" automation that big companies take for granted — answering every enquiry instantly, booking work around the clock, and being findable in AI search — without the enterprise price tag or the DIY homework. If a small team can hand off the repetitive parts of the day, they get their evenings back and stop losing work to whoever replied first.

Why Pivot Bureau exists

Two shifts are happening at once. First, customers increasingly expect an instant, capable reply on whatever channel they used — website, phone, WhatsApp — and the business that answers first usually wins. Second, buyers are starting their search inside AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, which name a handful of businesses instead of showing ten links. A small business now needs to be reachable by an agent and visible to an answer engine. Most aren't set up for either. That gap is the whole reason we exist.

Who's behind it

Pivot Bureau is founded and run by Mohsan Abasi, who builds the systems hands-on. There's no account-manager layer between you and the person writing the code — the person who scopes your build is the person who ships it. Our AI automation expertise

We work agentic-first. A scripted bot that only matches keywords isn't worth much; the value is in an assistant that can look something up, complete a task, and know when to hand off to a human. That means retrieval done properly (answers grounded in your facts, with the system built to say "I don't know" rather than invent an answer), tool use (booking, quoting, CRM updates), and safe escalation for anything sensitive or high-stakes.
